, Book Condition
The books offered for sale on the Internet by Brockwells are carefully examined so that information about condition is precise. If an error is made, we find out when packing the book for posting by a further examination. Where condition is described using commonly understood initials, this is what they mean...

M Mint - as new
F Fine - almost new
VG Very Good - showing only minor signs of use
G Good - well used but intact and with clean text
P Poor - text complete, otherwise defective, a reading copy only

When these abbreviations are used to describe the book and the dustwrapper, the book appears first.
